Senior Network Engineer

Cincinnati, OH based Full Service Networking (FSN) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Client Services Group. FSN is regional in scope, providing Managed IT Services to small to mid-sized organizations including Business, Not-for-Profit, and K-12 markets. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with good client communication skills and an appetite to solve escalated problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform network risk analysis
  • Assist in pre-sales network design
  • Assist in project implementation
  • Deploy monitoring tools and agents
  • Automate, approve and monitor backups, patches and updates
  • Field trouble alerts and help desk tickets
  • Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 Engineers in training and troubleshooting
  • Work with manufacturing partners (Microsoft, HP, VMware, Ruckus, Cisco, Dell, etc.) on escalated trouble tickets
  • Maintain certification and training goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of network infrastructure and/or administration skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the client
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated network documentation skills
  • Demonstrated interest in growth and learning
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Microsoft MCSE preferred
  • Exchange Server/Exchange expertise
  • VMware virtualization, vSphere
  • Wireless design, implementation, and management experience
  • Firewalls, routers & switches experience

Cincinnati, OH based Full Service Networking (FSN) is seeking a tier 1 IT technician/engineer to join our Client Services Group. FSN is regional in scope, providing Managed IT Services to small to mid-sized organizations including Business, Not-for-Profit, and K-12 markets. We are seeking a skilled technician/engineer with good client communication skills and an appetite to solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Help Desk support and troubleshooting for client end-users
  • Support client networks – including servers, switches, firewalls, backups, etc.
  • Assist in project implementation
  • Deploy monitoring tools and agents
  • Approve patches and updates
  • Monitor backups, follow backup test schedule
  • Field trouble alerts
  • Work with manufacturing partners (Microsoft, HP, VMware, Ruckus, Cisco, Dell, etc.) on trouble tickets
  • Maintain certification and training goals
  • Participate in NightWatch “Trouble Alert” on call rotation

Required Skills and Qualifications:
