FSN Eats Its Own Cooking
As we designed and moved our headquarters, we thought we should eat our own cooking. When we designed FSN's new headquarters, we deployed many of the technologies and solutions FSN provides to our customers. Like any other mid-sized business, we have enterprise needs, security and reliablity concerns, with a limited budget. We wanted to leverage technology, but do it in a cost effective way.

FSN Announces Move to New Blue Ash Location
Rick Maxwell, CEO and President of Full Service Networking, announces the firm has moved to a new location at 9987 Carver Road, Ste 130 in Blue Ash. The move will provide more space and amenities for FSN’s staff of approximately 20 employees. The firm was formerly located at 10501 Taconic Terrace.
“FSN continues to grow and we wanted a space that had an outstanding conference area as well as room for expansion,” Maxwell said. “The new offices are ideal for large meetings and the location provides easy access to area highways. In addition FSN is now located right in the center of some of the area’s fastest growing technology companies making it most desirable for visits by current and prospective clients.”
FSN Installs Unified Communications System To Improve Customer Service
Strongly believing that it must use the products it recommends to its customers, FSN installed Microsoft's Exchange Server 2007 and Unified Communications Server in its datacenter to both understand how to install and support the technology and to improve FSN's customer service and support. FSN's technical support staff uses Exchange Server 2007 and Unified Communications Servers' instant messaging, voice and video communication to improve communications between FSN network engineers that results in faster problem resolution and better customer service.
FSN Installs A Realtime Server Backup And Disaster Recovery Site For One Of Cincinnati's Leading Investment Advisory Firms
FSN installed a near-realtime backup and disaster recovery solution in Indianapolis to support customer's Cincinnati datacenter. The backup system provides file and folder level restorations, server recovery to a virtual system in minutes, and bare metal restore to a standby server in under an hour. The backup site can function as a full datacenter in the event of a complete loss of the Cincinnati datacenter. FSN provides full management and maintenance for the backup site. The capital cost for the backup and disaster recovery solution was less that $30,000.
FSN Upgrades High School To Wireless Tablets
FSN managed and installed a managed wireless network and the deployment of over 100 notebook tablets to one of Cincinnati's leading girls high schools.
FSN To Provide Enterprise Level Email and Intranet
FSN recently won a contract to provide enterprise level email services and company intranet services for 250 outside salespersons for the industrial chemicals products division of a large retail and commercial product company. The customer currently has no centralized email system with a corporate identity for their outside sales reps. FSN will host, manage and maintains servers running Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint Services under a two year contract starting in November, 2007. FSN will also provide Tier I and II help desk for the field sales and support staff.
FSN installed a new HP ProLiant server running Microsoft Small Business Server for a Cincinnati based organization that develops and produces electronic and print documents designed for students and professional and technical audiences.
FSN Signs With Large Regional Retail Distributor
FSN signed long term contract to provide managed network services for large regional flooring distributor and retail sales operation. FSN provides 24 X 7 remote monitoring for servers, routers and firewall, event management, problem resolution and server management and maintenance. As part of this contract, FSN is upgrading servers and software to significantly improve the performance, reliability and security of the network and computer services for the company’s 180 employees.
FSN Upgrades Infrastructure For Contract Employment Specialist
FSN upgraded the servers, switches, firewall and cabling for a West Chester based company that provides contract employees to the automotive and aircraft industries. The new HP ProLiant server and Microsoft Small Business Server software provides the customer a significantly faster, more reliable and secure data storage and email system.
FSN Installs VoIP Telephony For Trucking Company
FSN installed a new 3Com VoIP telephony system for a large trucking company located in Cincinnati. The new phone system operating on the existing data network, provides the customer many new features and functions while reducing the customer’s annual cost for communications services by 33%.
FSN Designs Video Surveillance and Security For Tech Ed Center
FSN installed an integrated video surveillance, door access control system and 24 x 7 monitoring for fire, security and 911 services for the largest career and technical education district in the United States. The system includes IP cameras, 15 door access controls and flat panel monitors in the security office.
FSN installed new servers and network switches at a large private high school to increase the performance and security of the schools network.
FSN Upgrades Wireless Network For Prestigious Private School
FSN significantly upgraded the wireless network at one of Cincinnati’s most prestigious private K-12 schools nationally recognized as a leader in adopting advanced technology. The wireless network supports over 400 students with laptops required for coursework.
FSN Installs 12 HP Servers In Regional Data Center
FSN installed 12 new HP ProLiant servers in a customer data center and took over full operation of the customer’s IT operations supporting over 500 employees located in 25 offices in four southern and western states.
